Ecological bricks in social projects

Local governments, NGOs, universities and community build days use the soil-cement brick to build better homes, with the community itself making the bricks.

People laying interlocking ecological bricks on a wall, with a spirit level and rebar, in a community space
2×stronger than the common brick, on average
3×faster to raise the walls

Award finalist

The project was a finalist for the Fundação Banco do Brasil Award.

The community produces

Residents make the bricks and take part in the build, which cuts cost and creates jobs.
