Privacy Policy

Who we are

The website vimaqprensas.com.br belongs to Vimaq Prensas (Brazilian company registration CNPJ 53.309.052/0001-00), a manufacturer of presses for ecological brick. Vimaq is the controller of the data described here, under the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (Law 13,709/2018, the LGPD).

What data we collect

• Contact form: name, city, phone (WhatsApp), interest and the message you write. You only fill it in if you want to request a quote or talk to us.
• Technical form data: the language, the page the contact came from and the country, which Cloudflare reports from the connection. Your IP address is not stored: we keep only an encoded version of it (a hash), to limit excessive submissions and abuse.
• WhatsApp: when you click the button you open a chat on WhatsApp. What you write there stays with the conversation and is handled by WhatsApp (Meta) under their own policy.
• Visit statistics (Google Analytics): pages visited, time on the site, device and browser type, approximate location (city or country) and clicks on the WhatsApp buttons. It uses its own cookies and identifiers.

What we use the data for

• To answer your quote request or question and follow up commercially on it.
• To understand which pages and buttons work, so we can improve the site and our service.
• To protect the site against spam and abuse.

We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not use it for automated decisions. We do not send marketing e-mails: contact is by phone or WhatsApp.

Legal basis

We process form data based on your consent and on steps preliminary to a contract at your request, such as a quote (LGPD, art. 7, I and V). Visit statistics and abuse protection rely on our legitimate interest in running and improving the site and keeping it secure (art. 7, IX).

Who we share it with

Only with the services needed for the site to work, which process data on our behalf:

• Cloudflare: website hosting, delivery network and the database where contacts are stored.
• Google: Analytics (statistics), Fonts (the site lettering) and YouTube (the video on the Construction page, which only loads when you open it).
• WhatsApp (Meta): when you choose to talk there.

Some of these services are located in other countries. When that happens, the transfer follows the safeguards set out in the LGPD (art. 33).

Cookies

The site uses one cookie of its own to remember the language you chose and Google Analytics cookies for statistics. You can block or delete them in your browser settings or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. The site works normally without them.

How long we keep it

We keep form contacts for as long as needed to serve you and for at most 24 months after the last contact, and then delete them. Google Analytics statistics are kept for the period set in the tool (14 months). We may keep for longer what the law requires, for example data from a completed sale.

Your rights

At any time you may ask for: confirmation that we process your data, access to it, correction, anonymization or deletion, information on who we share it with, portability and withdrawal of consent (LGPD art. 18). You may also complain to the Brazilian data protection authority (ANPD).

To exercise any right, contact us on WhatsApp +55 (12) 98712-6265, Monday to Friday, 9am to 12pm and 2pm to 6pm (Brazil time). We reply within 15 days.

Security

The site uses a secure connection (HTTPS). Contacts are stored in a database with access restricted to the Vimaq team and protected by a password. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the site changes or the law requires. The date of the latest version is at the top of the page.
